Great choice in gear.

Wait- cruisers don't crash. Carry on.

I would recommend "gear" if they were riding on a sport bike,and/or driving like a maniac. More than likely, they are just "cruisin" as you say. What "gear" would you prefer them to be in? Full leathers? I bet you were all the recommended "gear" 100 % of the time huh!

Love the dog sticking his head out of the bag. Awesome!

You know, here's what I recommend; dress like that girl is dressed, run as fast as you can down the road and dive onto the asphalt. I know some people run faster than crotch crawlers, but I think you can see my point that even SLOW CAN HURT YOU!

Not to mention, that if that 900 lbs. thing fell on you....

LdyRdr, aside from you're long time monitoring this blog...Are you freakin serious ? Did you not see the photos above? Are you truly one of the Stepford Riders or is this really "Trucker" stirring shit up ?

Thank God it wasn't titled "A smooch & a trap lookin' good".

The crash photos above were brought to you by an a**hat that forgot or didn't care what he was hauling. I will dress acording to how I plan to ride. Granted I can't control others but they will not force me into doing something I do not want to do.
P.S. I would love to find a way to get the helmet and seatbelt laws declared unconstitutional. And I will fight at every turn to keep any more regulations put on bikers. And the ATGATT people are the ones that would vote for less freedom.

Sorry, Martvol. Don't include me in "the ATGATT people are the ones that would vote for less freedom" crowd. I don't think I like the helmet & seatbelt laws any more than you, but, I think it is just plain stupid to not wear a seatbelt in a car or as much protective clothing as you can afford to wear when out riding a bike. You can dress all you want according to how you're going to ride, but, you have no control over what the other guy is going to do. Ganted, the above sequence of pictures have nothing to do with "the other guy", just the driver of the bike, I'm sure he and she weren't planning on dumping the bike when they started out. If that's not enough reason to wear protective equipment, then sign a donor card.
P.S. - I would DEFINITELY sign a petition to appeal the helmet & seat belt laws. We should all have the right to be as stupid as we want. Just don't send me the bill.

@RC...I knew "Trucker" was lurking around here somewhere

I think you just need to worry about your own gear and let everyone else make their own decisions. And I don't know who Trucker is.

Someone has to make an offering to the road rash gods, just glad it's not me. Hey, there's some real potential right there.

Everybody should have the legal right to wear whatever the hell they want while they're riding....just as I have the legal right to call them an idiot for doing so. Makes it easier to point the morons out.
