There will be rafting this Saturday on the Cheoah.

This is a shot of the Nantahala, which is MUCH tamer. The Cheoah runs alongside 129 between Tapoco Lodge and Robbinsville, just south of Deals Gap. It's pretty knarly at Class 4/5, so check it out if you're in the area, but be mindful of the extra traffic and pedestrians please.
