Miata Weekend Update
Photos from last week are uploading into our store right now.
You car folks who might be ordering 8x10 prints need to be aware of something. Our cameras shoot in a 3:2 format, but 8x10s are in a 5:4 format...which is more square-ish than our more rectangular images from the camera. As a result, 8x10 prints have to be cropped on the sides in order for the rectangular image to fit onto the square print. It's sort of like watching a wide-screen video on a regular TV screen...something has to give, so you have black bars or the sides get cut off. In this case, the sides get cut off. If you order an 8x10 of a tight shot of your car, about 20% of the left and/or right portion of the image has to be cropped off. That means we may have to crop out your front or rear bumper, so you may not want to order those IF THE SHOT IS TIGHT ON THE CAR.
I wanted to sort the cars by color, but I just don't have time. I am going out of town tomorrow for a couple of days, and when I get back I'll have to get right back to shooting, so everything had to go online tonight. Y'all don't hate on me too hard. A couple of tips to help you find your shots easier. First, adjust the number of images displayed to something like "5 Across" and "20 Down". This brings up 100 images per page, so you don't have to spend so much time flipping pages. Second, put your images in a photo album. (Free - Click on "show more options" in the upper-right of the thumbnails page, or just click "add to album" when you find your images) Creating a photo album makes it easier to make your final selection from all of the shots, and you can find your shots quickly later and share them with friends.
On to the highlights!
