The folks at EastTNriders.com put up some reflective stakes and ribbon at the Calderwood pull-off corner where the man and his son went over the drop a couple of weekends ago, and spent the stormy night down there with tragic consequences. Now you can see which way the road goes much better, and tell if someone has gone off by the broken ribbon. Actually, after taking this picture, I noticed the ribbon was broken, and I went over to see if anyone was down there. It was midnight, I was alone, and I didn't have a flashlight, so I had to use my camera flash to "pop" image into my eyes. I can't convey to you how spooky that was.
