I AM BOTHERD THAT THIS "PUBLIC ROAD" IS BEING PROMOTED AS A RACE TRACK. I AM GLAD TO SEE THE HIGHWAY PATROL IN FULL FORCE TO RID THE HOOLIGANS OF THE SELFISHNESS OF SPEEDING AND RACE TRACK MINDSET.
Who's promoting this as a "race track"?
Public 30 mph road... Daytona 500 is in the flat state of Florida - Skippy...
KILLBOY.com - promotes this Public Road as a Racing course... TNHP will dillute this problem!
Of the many times I've visited this site it is my opinion that in no way has any member or associate of this site promoted wreckless behavior, I do however belive they are promoting truth. By that I mean some people drive really fast on this road, killboy, the staff and others simply take pictures, talk about goings on and the general outlook of the comunity involved in the pleasures this road is capable of bearing. If anything they are advocates of saftey. One example to note is the section(s) instructing how to safely negotiate the road, including instructions for both bikes and cars. I suppose we're all intitled to our opinions, some are just harder to swallow than others.
There is no problem to "dilute".
I guess telling people every week to drive safe and to stay in their lane is promoting racing...who would have thought?
It bothers us when people refer to the Gap as a race track and we often remind them that it IS a public road and to take it easy.

Killboy has never promoted this road as a race track. I think you need to get ahold of some facts before accusing someone of something they do nnot do. Killboy does everything he possibilly can to promote safe riding and driving on this stretch of highway. No one else goes to the extent that he does to try to keep it safe and enjoyable as he does. You cannot blame Killboy for the riders and drivers unethnical driving abilities. You should try and approch the source of the problem, and say something to the ones that create chaos and a menece up there instead of blaming someone that is helping keep your butt safe and out of danger!
so just who exactly is this oxygen thief in need of apprehension who in his superior wisdom believes that the gap is being promoted as a race track?
come on anony-mouse one if you have the testicular fortitude to espouse as such. at least do us the courtesy of leaving your name so that we know who to properly berate and belittle.
darryl and those associated with killboy and their friends don't promote this road as the second form of road racing. they do everything they can to help promote safety for everyone on it. and happen to make their living up there. are you jealous, i think that is probably it.
Not only does killboy and staff help by letting people know current conditions of the road and other information that might be useful but He also cleans up the crap on the road after trucks, bikes cars etc leak oil or get gravel or debris on the road. never mind the Asswipe that put oil on the road in 5 huge spots to cause harm to motorcyclists and others. Killboy is there to take pictures he just so happens to help take care of that section of road also. In no way does that promote racing. if no one was up there taking pictures all the people who go fast through there would still go fast reguardless. In short STFU!
Killboy and crew do more to promote safety up on the hill than anyone, including law enforcement, period.
"Selfless" comes to mind when I think of Killboy and the time that he has spent making sure the roads are SAFE for everybody.
