Weekly Update - October 27, 2010
As always, shots from the last seven years are up in Our Store here, and be sure to check out the recent additions to the area scenery/wall art selections. Below are some of the highlights from last week.
DON'T FORGET to hit the "Older Posts" link at the bottom of each page to get to the end. ;)
A bit of traffic at times last weekend, but surprisingly slow overall considering all of the nice colors in the area. Weather has really moved in over the last couple of days, with high winds and rain right now, so that should knock a lot of the leaves off, but many are still green.
The only groups on the calendar for this weekend is a Corvair rally. Don't forget the big party going down at the Deals Gap resort Friday and Saturday night too. We've got the big wheels ready, Lori's got some cool costumes for each night, and I'm trying to get the minibike prepped and ready to run. Can't wait to mix it up with lots of friends at night for a change!
Also, we've got a shot in this month's (Dec. 2010) issue of Sport Rider. Flip to page 20, the "Late Braking" department, and you may notice a big familiar shot from days past.
On to the highlights!

So the back is good to run the mini bike again?
Probably not according to a doctor...I'd just have to avoid wheelies...or crashing. ;)
Looking like a no-go anyway...figured out the new wheels aren't compatible with my current brake rotors or sprocket.
when was the sport rider photo taken and was it as bad as it looked?
I took that a few years ago, and it was nowhere near as bad as it looks. Both vehicles are practically stopped and they just landed right there on top of his bike. He was fine and there was minimal damage to the bike...he ride it off.
