Weekly Update - June 6, 2007

Hey folks, hope you're having a good spring...summer's almost here! Shots from last week are uploading to Tha Store.

Last weekend was kinda slow, as are most weekends after holidays. A couple of bad wrecks had the EMTs and highway patrol out working the scene. TNHP had an officer out Saturday and Sunday writing a few tickets for speeding and reckless driving. If you feel you got ticketed unfairly, contact attorney Chris Oldham in Knoxville at 865-633-6066.

Weather looks pretty good for this weekend, with the usual possibility for thunderstorms late in the day this time of year. There are going to be at least 10 groups here this weekend, so y'all play nice together out there.

On to the highlights!

Chris Oldham "won" an RD ticket for me in KPD city court. 50 mph in a 55 zone on I-40. I pulled the cop's personnel file, and he had crashed his patrol car 4 times in his 5 years as a cop, rear ending innocent people. But when it was dismissed, I had to pay court costs, in addition to $200 attorney fee. When you win a case, the loser is supposed to pay court costs. That's The Law. I've been winning cases pro se ever since. And that KPD cop got his patrol car taken from him.
