Weekly Update - April 4, 2012

Hello folks!  Pretty big announcement this week, (see photo below) and some great highlights.  Traffic is starting to pick up, but there is still plenty of quiet time out there during non-peak hours.  I am told Blount County Sheriff's Department will have two officers on patrol for the remainder of the season 8am-8pm, so let's not give those guys a reason to break out the ticket books or call the EMS, although it is comforting to have them around in case emergency services are needed.  I'm hoping they focus just as much attention on reckless driving and lane crossing as they do on speeding.

This weekend there are Chrysler Crossfire and Hyundai Genesis Coupe rallies in the area, so let's all play nice together out there...same team and all.  On to the highlights!
