Trying something new here...

Let me know what you think, be honest! If you'd like me to talk a little about a particular topic next time, or have any questions you'd like to see answered next time, please post them in the comments.

Have you ever had any close calls with being hit by a car or bike that was out of control?

Hey, Darryl. I liked it. Dragon Reality TV.
Another outlet for your creativity, and some video ideas may come to you.
Just don't skimp on Highlights: I also love the artistry of many of those still shots, and your sense of humor.
Amazing to me, if this was last Saturday, with three car clubs in town, that there wasn't more traffic. Maybe they were having lunch?

Great idea. You might want to talk a little bit....a bit slow for 10 minutes.

You know, I watch this and see the warm spring sun, hear the orchestra of birdsong, and almost feel the fresh breeze. I see a young man who's figured out how to turn hia passion into a paying gig. Then I think about breathing the recycled air under the soulless flourescent lights at my desk in my cubicle inside my office building and I know for a fact who has the best job on planet earth.

(Just edit in a Ferrari or two, okay?)

That don't seem like the Dragon to me. Seems awfully slow and I don't recognize the spot your in.

Good job! I enjoyed watching you in action and a reality sandwich of the Dragon's usage.

I'm glad you offer the service that you do. I'd go flipping insane sitting there. After about 15 minutes I'd be gone. I've taken the trek down your way about 5 times and it never seemed crazy to me. I was surprised when I watched the tv show and they made it sound so deadly. They didn't describe the Dragon I've visited.

Things you could talk about:
1) What you like most/least about the Dragon.
2) How to ride/drive it in the rain (shot in rain).
3) How to ride/drive it at night.
4) Short interviews: Killgurl, Killphotogs, Killfriends (Johnson, Wheeler, ???). Interesting out-of-towners who stop at your shooting site.
5) "Dragontales" of same people.
6) Modifications to Killcars and how they worked out.
Just throwing stuff out here; no idea if it would work as "KillTV" or not. C'mon, other site fans, help a Killboy out, here.

Cool vid to show people how it really is most of the time (at least when I have been there).

I'll be there Thursday evening through Sunday with the Deals Gap Rotary Rally. Look for the Phantom Blue RX-8 with Killboy.com stickers on the rear windows!

And you still spell Darrel wrong, Darryl.

I like the idea you have with videotaping what you do. Some commentary would be great. I love reading the highlights because of your witty comments. So I'd like to see that with the video.

Never been there in April! Mid June 2010 and Early July 2011 were much busier, even September 2011 was busier than this seems to be. Wish I were there right now to enjoy the light traffic and get a good ride in.

Thanks for all you do Daryl! The video idea is great and as the traffic picks up later in the season I am sure will give people who have never been a good idea of what its like.

Love the idea and I'm sure you'll get some more interesting vids throughout the year.

I agree with a lot of what Pilote Ancien said. He mentioned what I thought to be a few interesting points... Your likes/dislikes about The Dragon, maybe some brief insight on your own high-lights/low-lights. And you could probably not ever talk enough about safety and having courtesy for one another out there, or anywhere for that matter. Curious to see how this turns out honestly... Look forward to seeing more, man. (Always grindin')

Hey Daryl - great vid - albeit a bit "slow", you should think of trying to get a few wireless webcams to attach on a few corners out there, and charge a small subscription to view the feed.

I have never been to Deals Gap (yet) - we have a trip planned there this August, and to be honest I was a little (lot) intimidated by what I had heard. After watching allot of youtube vids of crashes - they all seem to be someone doing something stupid, or beyond their ability. I am a fairly new rider (2 yrs - last year on a sport bike - had to get rid of it because I thought I was going to kill myself on it, and now have a cruiser). I have been riding the last 4 months on our rural twistys in Indiana / Kentucky to get myself prepared as much as possible, but I think all will be fine if I take my time - not going to prove any speed records - looks like you and a few of your buddies may have that honor :).

Anyway, thanks for the vid, it gave me a bit more insight as to traffic / etc - which was my major worry. I cannot wait to get there and just enjoy the scenery. Hopefully you will be out, and catch a few good shots of me creeping through the gap - I will have to buy a souvenir if I survive :).

Great vid Daryl! I enjoyed watching it as well as watching you work! Seems pretty relaxing, especially on a nice day like that!

Hopefully I'll be bringing my R1200R up to the Gap some time. I've already tackeled the Diamondback as an appetizer this past weekend. Now I'm looking at the Dragon for the main course! :P
