Updating Site...

So we had a landslide last week, you may have heard.  TDOT just got it cleared up today (thank you!) and the road is open.  I call it a landslide instead of rockslide because there wasn't much rock there...mostly dirt and trees.  This turn it happened in always has debris falling in the road, and we've stopped many times to clean it up.  TDOT put up some preventive barriers and since a large portion of material slid away, (they carried out 80+ truckloads of earth!) it should stay clear now.

Slow week otherwise since the road was blocked off at one end...saw a few people returning home from Bike Week via a Dragon detour and some locals out enjoying the alone time, but that's about it.
