Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb Footage
Finally got around to editing the onboard footage that we shot at last year's inaugural Chasing the Dragon SCCA Hillclimb event. Maybe this will help get you one step closer to next season. Watch in HD if possible! (It's a closed course y'all. ;)

That Lotus Seven was loose ALL the way up, not just when he spun. Maybe its neutral on a prepared track, but Chasing The Dragon must have been an "interesting" weekend for him.
Hope "Lori's Left" is named for Killgurl: all props to the local promoters of sports tourism.
OK, now for my first music bitch EVER on KB videos: DO NOT mess with Steppenwolf. Original tracks only. ;-)
The Lotus (Locost) driver switched to an old set of shot tires just for the video. Plus we knew the chase cars would have a hard time keeping up. ;)
Lori's Lefty is indeed named after killgurl. She's the one that pretty much stumbled across the SCCA's need for a new venue and got the ball rolling to make it happen.
Music is hard...always offends SOMEONE...there is no perfect track. Original version is great too...trying to appeal to the younger crowd though without getting too niche. (dubstep anyone?) Tried to keep it generic but somewhat progressive since it may be used for promotion of the event.
Well then! Even more props to KG.
As for music: I know, I know. Merry Clayton was RIGHTEOUS on backup on the Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter" track. So I bought her cover of her own backup on iTunes. Big mistake. It's the room, the moment, the chemistry, and the band.
Speaking (ahem) as a member of the Older Crowd, can only applaud your "middle of the road" audio tracks to the older S2000 video and the recent "Jay Multistrada." And to all KB fans out there, you GOTTA see "Jay Multistrada." As Dire Straits might have said "THAT'S the way you do it."
Will we see this sticking out from under the Killboy awning this year?

I love the music...and the video
If KB mounts that lens on a tripod next summer, we can all do "Caption This" again.
Hard to get a sense of scale from the pic. Looks about as big as the Russian Space Station.
So , how does one get to participate ? I'd imagine the Scca has some info about this somewhere -
I gotta' tell 'ya, I love the music mix.
And I'm two days older that dirt!
Is this gonna be a yearly event? Could be time for a trade-in...
It will be a twice annual event as of this year. Check out http://www.dragonhillclimb.com/ for more info.
