Oh, my sweet summer child, what do you know about fear? Fear is for the winter, when the snows fall a hundred feet deep. Fear is for the long night, when the sun hides for years and children are born and live and die all in darkness. That is the time for fear, my little lord, when the scooter goes under the cover to hibernate on the trickle charger..

And the power lines are barely visible.

@ Josh
Nice 'Game of Thrones' reference!

Truely breath taking! I am very impressed. It is those moments in a picture that says a thousand words.

Magnificent shot! (What was the focal length, if ya don't mind?)

@Bill: 10mm lens on a 1.6x crop so effectively 16mm.

Thanks for the info, Darryl.

Just another great shot from Darryl.
I was going to run through Thursday 11/3 on my way home from Blowing Rock, NC but the rain made me just keep on rolling back towards Dallas. I had a fantastic day up on The Diamondback though along with all the BRP riding I did. Maybe see you next year.
As for "Josh", I feel for man but, here in the Big D riding as all year round. Sorry. :-)
