Traffic was stopped in front of him just out of the frame.
Coulda been a newbie. First time he ever saw someone/people on the side of the road taking picks. Like that vid of the guy (car_) who runs through the rock debris from the slide last year. He was looking at the camera crew, not the road. This guy looks like he sees ya and is panicking.
