I'll bet if we covered the yellow line in newborn babies nobody would cross the line.
I don't know where we could get enough. Even if we only put them in blind turns it would take a bunch of them. Plus, they would need fed occasionally and would need protection from coyotes who might possibly try to abduct them and raise them.

Just put one every 10ft or so and put them in dog crates with formula feeders. Like hamsters.

At least it wasn't the yellow line...
They would have to be the bird cage like wire ones. If we used the plastic ones nobody would know there were babies inside. We could write "Baby inside, do not run over" on the crate but people probably would not believe it.
I guess we will just have to accept that a certain percentage will be taken away to be raised in a pack of coyotes and replace the missing ones.
Easier to just post a few snipers on random corners every so often. Just sayin'
