The guy in the front looks a lot like George Hincapie.
I guess that is George Hincapie, according to his twitter he was just at Blackberry farms and did a local ride.
I like the way bicylist cry about share the road. Is this sharing?
This is how they ride in South Florida and then go mental when the front goes down and they all crash or they get run over by a car.
I ride a bicycle too but respect the mass difference with motorcars.
I think in Georgia there is a law that they are supposed to ride single file. (They don't seem to know about it)
And hey, what about the lack of gear? No leathers, boots, or full-face helmets to be seen, and only a few riders wearing gloves.
Buncha' S.Q.U.I.D.S. who hog up the road...
And that would be Christian Vande Velde, fourth at the Tour on his left shoulder.
Yup, that is George Hincapie in the BMC kit, and Christian Vande Velde to his left in the Garmin kit. Not every day you have US National Champions and Tour de France stage winners (and top five GC finishers) pedaling past your cameras. World class pros, with what must be twenty plus Tours de France between 'em. They both helped shepherd one L. Armstrong to fame and glory. For those not in the know, those guys are the pedaling equilavent of MotoGP pilots. Some serious horsepower right there and they're not just cruising by, they're getting paid big $ for it... ;-)
Famous riders or not, they should be riding single file on the side. Most states have a law requiring it.
