gotta love that denim armor!
Yep, handlebars were not high enough.
"I don't crash."
How about this one - "I dress to ride, not to crash". When will these idiots learn that JANET RENO IS THE ONLY MAN TOUGHER THAN ASPHALT!
Long as I'm going slow.....
The 1st pic looked like he was leaned way back!
Dumb. I'd rather sweat than bleed.
I bet the lady fared worse than he did, and she did nothing to cause it. Shame on him for putting her thru all the pain. The hill is no place to take a friend on the back of your scooter, if you have no skills.
Curly said it perfect !
Watchtower's right AGAIN!!!
i talked to them at the crot, he told me that he just lost it.. wasnt thinking, target affix, and just plan old didnt know the road...... SHE on the other hand, said a truck ran them off the road. lol i laughed and me and my gf, said, he just told us what really happened.. i still dont see the truck lol
I visited the Dragon for the first time last Sunday. Three days later I bought a jacket with armor. I've been riding for almost ten years in Illinois and this road showed me how much of a novice I really am.
Custom Riblet, It is good to see another rider understanding his / her limitations. I could have said the same thing several years ago, and I am still far from the fastest, but the Dragon has taught me lessons that have made me a better rider.
As 'Dirty Harry' would say:
"A man's got to know his limitations"
Watchtower rockin' the "Finesse" perk.
Wow,, I was reading and was going to post about how this rider would have a story about having to Lay'er down... and get to the above post and see that his GF made up a truck before they even got out of the area.. when you folks in the pics read this, PLEASE remember - this wasn't a cool story, anyone else's fault, and definitely no to be blamed on anyone except the rider, who apparently has a passenger with a lack of morals who would try to blame non-existent drivers for the Riders lack of competence. Please go take up another hobby instead of contributing to riders' bad names.
Good thing she was wearing her kevlar tanktop.
BTW I've never crashed...not evar...really.
The girl saying "truck ran us off the road" = priceless!! :)
