That's what full-face helmets are for.
Look at all that truck to your left.
This is a buddy of mine, first time visiting...
I've been there a dozen times, riding well on a sharp bike with no highlight love. Should I do something dumb or just stop by and ask WTF?
The scary part is look at the faces on the people in the truck, dude driving doesn't even see him.
wow i made the highlight reel... :( not that it was a good way. The truck def pushing his tires as he came around the curve but was not overly close as we actually exchanged paths past eachother. I wasnt worried at all and i stood the bike up straighter and followed to the outside of my lane further. :) never a dull moment at the gap
Yeah the angle of the shot exaggerates the proximity, but still it's a powerful reminder that we can all work on staying more to the right, especially around left-handers.
K, guess I'll just hang my ass outta some chaps like on page 4. LOL
I used to be bad at left handers but I followed a fast dude on a supermoto one day.At the end of the day I was a hole new rider.
If that is the same truck that I followed last year, you're darned lucky. He spent 90% of his left-handers at least 1/2 in the other lane.
I found myself following the double yellow too. It's got some kind of magnetic pull. Many times I had to readjust my line.
