Never had road rash before?
Did that once as a kid. Slid off the road and got road rash and then found out the next day poison ivy as well.
Never again.
I still think the rider should be able to choose if they wear a helmet or not....
Jason, I have no trouble with helmet choice if I have the choice not to subsidize his health care as a result of his helmet choice.

What about the many swimming pool~ bathtub slip and fall head injuries every year?? What about the many car accident head injuries every year? Helmets for Automobile users is on your list, RIGHT?

is the BIGGEST LIE foisted upon the non-riding public, I can't believe I'm hearing it from a fellow motorcyclist!!!
There are MANY serious head injuries every year from ALL walks of life.
Why isn't anyone worried about subsidizing bathers health care? Who sez *they* have health insurance?!?
So, MANDATORY helmets in the tub, anyone?
