Oh man, lucky it didn't lock up !
Lucky it didn't whip right through his leg too. Either a crappy rivet job or lost his master clip I suppose.

Will never catch a clip type master link on my bike.
Possibly not a clip-type, could just have been a "weak link"
Bashed-in engine cases can result from that as well. It sucks but he and his bike came out okay.
