Pants are a clue !

there was no excuse for my chain being so loose. I did adjust it before I headed home. Leathers would be nice but at least those are kevlar reinforced,SHIFT pants.

I know where you're coming from Mark, but I partly disagree. Just b/c a rider wears jeans doesn't mean they don't have a clue, and just b/c a rider wears leathers doesn't mean he's any better a rider - just a bit safer.

I've worn similar jeans (kevlar reinforced - ICON) for the last 5 years. I just refuse to pay for a whole leather suit when I have a $500 leather jacket that automatically gets thrown on a hanger in the closet never to be seen again.

If anyone knows where I can find leather pants to zip onto a Berik jacket, lemme know... Thanks!

Ooops, I was tying the loose chain to a sort of "whatever" thought process.

Reinforced jeans are better but I have seen the body after a tumble and I will stick to thicker stuff. If you are serious about zippers any tailor with a heavy duty machine will put zips on whatever you like.

To each their own.

@ 1slik6 mark is right...shift sells just the lower leather....shift redline pants, they zip from the right side to the left...and yes, a good tailor can doublestictch in a solid zipper connection

zxrider-get yourself some full kevlar long-johns and wear them under your kevlar jeans. I wear them under Vanson Leathers textile overpants in the summer (makes a good low-sweat combo) and as a base layer under Draggin kevlar thick fleece cold-weather jeans in winter. So you would be fully kevlard plus the kevlar jeans sections on top. Did I mention kevlar? ;-)

Draggin-jeans gots'im.

+1 Natasha :) Indeed it's up to the rider whether he/she wants to save some skin...why anybody comments as if it's a horrendous faux pas I'll never know...the only person at risk is the rider...leave em to it

Just a note for those desiring leather pants - watch the eBay. I bought a nice pair of used track pants a couple years ago for $35. Had to stitch in my own zipper for the jacket, but now I have a great cool weather protection package! (I wear mesh armor in the warmer times.)
