Godspeed, most of us know the loss.
Hate to hear the loss, but to be doing something you love to do when your clock is up, is also a bleesing. Just remember, we are all going to go someday. Don't ya think riding the Gap on that day would make it better?
Rest in Peace Stevie and drag a knee at the Pearly Gates.
well said steve
If this can happen to a Gap regular, then all you newbies better pay heed and take it easy.
Rest in Peace.
The most disturbing thing to me is that he is wearing full gear. We try to minimize the risks as much as possible, but sometimes it's just not enough.
RIP Stevie.
Rest in peace, much respect. I didn't know Steve but I will keep his family and friends, all those affected by the loss in my prayers daily.
Please, please... all those who think it can never happen to you. We're all only human.
My *very sincere* condolences to all Stevie's Family and Friends.
I did not know Stevie but we all lost a fellow motorcyclist. A very sad thing.
Bugger.
Sometimes you know it's your last ride, sometimes you don't.
Steve - You are already missed... RIP
God Speed.
My condolances to the family and friends.
Does anyone know exactly what really happened? Perhaps got distracted by riding slow? How many hours was the rescue time?
THP will use this crash to 'justify' its 11,400% increase in biker tickets in Blount County.
God Speed Stevie. I agree with the sentiment of going out like we love to live but it doesn't make it easier for our loved ones who miss us. I have lost friends who were riding and had others ask me if it bothers me when I think of them. Does it make me want to stop riding. No. It makes me want to ride more. It inspires me to ride for those who can't. To reach that nirvana we all feel when we have the perfect ride on the perfect day. Its then that I remember my fallen friends. The times we shared.
