DO NOT TIE YOUR BIKE DOWN WHILE ON THE SIDE STAND!
Oh go ahead and tie it that way. These trailered bike groups are always the ones that wreck anyhow, they have nothing to lose cause they don't have to ride the bike back. Plus they take up all the parking places at the resort.
