Not only does it kick up gravel, causing accidents which bring out the police/ambulances/media, there are often large rocks placed there by the locals who have to continuously clean those spots, intended to do damage to vehicles that repeatedly drop tires there.

Rebar driven into the ground works better. Stupid drivers should be arrested for driving that bad. I see it all the time.
