pretty neat engineering.
Pretty neat and all I guess, but...
if you want less wind, maybe you should consider putting the top up!
I have no idea why, and it's probably due to never really riding in a convertable, but it REALLY irritates me to see the top down and windows UP!!
But I digress... whatever makes you crazies happy.
Yeah. It is because you have never riden a convertible.
It is like going to the beach, but without getting into the water. lots of people like that.
Windows keep the noise level down. And some people have sensitive ears, don't like the wind blowing across them.
Top down and windows up is a pet peeve of mine, too. I know it's silly, but can't help the fact that it bothers me. And yes, I have ridden in a convertible.
Forbid my wife to do it in her drop top. Told her she looked like a dork. Has since sold the drop top and spends nice days int eh wind on her s2r.
I like to ride with top *and* windows half-way up! (or down)
If the wind bothers you, don't get a convertible, period. I wouldn't be caught dead in a vert with the top down and windows up, especially on a curvy stretch of road that you can't get that fast on anyway. C'mon!
And yes I own one.
