Random Update - Feb. 25th, 2010
As always, photos from the past seven years can be found in Our Store here.
Back from the Chicago International Motorcycle Show last weekend. We had a good time, and heard that the weather was nice here, with several folks out taking advantage of it on the Gap. Also heard of some idiocy, newcomers crapping in the community food bowl we all have to share...brilliant. Same types that trash up the parking lots they hang out in, and then complain when they get kicked out.
For the record the 4touge.com group was in the area, but not involved in any of that.
So yeah, Chicago show was great...met a lot of cool people and it makes me feel so fortunate to live as close as we do to such a great place that so many want to come visit. Numbers were smaller though, both with the attending crowd and vendor setups. That's the last show we do for the year, and Daytona Bike Week kicks off this weekend, so the season is about to crank up. (as 3 inches of fresh snow lays on our porch outside)
Before we move on to the highlights, just a heads-up about a change Blogger forced on everyone. There is a restriction now to about 25 posts per page, so the update is bigger than what you see here, but you have to hit the "Older Posts" link at the bottom to see the rest of it. Everyone is raising hell about it, so hopefully this will change back or at least give us the option.
Ok, on to the highlights!

Thats really shitty to hear about those idiots in the Suburban! I make sure every time I take a trip up there to stay the hell in my lane! I already have to deal with the stero-type of driving a 240sx.
Glad no one was hurt in the incident!
Curious why Killboy is at Chicago IMS as well as Cleveland, but not at the "local" IMS show at Greenville, SC?
Awww, we love you too, elks. But, we just go where the county tells us...I think Ron and Nancy usually man the booth in Greenville, but not sure if they were there this year. We were out of the country in St. Lucia that weekend.
And realistically, those shows cost the county a lot of money, and these are tough times. They have to weigh whether they really need to reach people in the target location. In your case, you're coming through town anyway on your way to the Gap most likely.
Good to see Darryl and Lori at the Chicago show - always good to see a friendly face up there.
See you guys at the Gap ...soon!
