Update - Feb 3, 2010
Hey folks, if you're looking for your photos, they're available in Our Store here. Your business is appreciated!
We're back from running the county travel and tourism booth at the Cleveland IMS show. Overall it was a good experience, and the weather was actually nicer up there than here at home oddly enough. (ice storms here) The people were generally very friendly and appreciative to see a county pay for a booth to invite motorcyclists here as opposed to trying to run them off. It's humbling when asked for advice for a trip one is planning, and I'm grateful to be able to help. It can also be a little frustrating hearing the same rumors and falsehoods brought up repeatedly, especially stuff like "crowtch rawkits" causing all the accidents when my wife was hit head-on by a rider on a cruiser while she rode her sportbike. Seperation and hatred for our fellow riders is ignorance, pure and simple. (I know I keep saying it, sorry for getting all preachy.) At least it's fairly uncommon.
Moving on, we'll be at the Chicago IMS show in a few weeks doing it all over again. I'm sure some of you from around there will stop by and hassle us...I look forward to it. ;)
Ok, here are a few highlights from the show!

I don't see it as "preachy" at all.
You're probably in the best position to call it as it is out there.
Having had the chance to drive there, I now have a much better understanding of where you're coming from and can only say keep up the good work of educating and accident prevention. It's very much appreciated.
So awesome what you do KB, and Ms. KB also... because you know, beside every good dude stands a good woman... & all. ; )
Seriously - seen the booth before myself and to anyone who's glanced over this website at least once - you damn certain have made a difference and I'm guessing almost single-handedly. Obviously no one can do EVERYTHING themselves, but it took one to put things in order and make it happen.
I too appreciate y'all continuously inviting the motorcycles (and sports cars) down to have a little fun - cause 'round here, the idea wouldn't even be entertained on a public road.
So as I look forward to another season and a 3rd annual trip to challenge The Dragon, I - THANK - YE.
