now that is sweeeet. bike engine?
Ariel Atom. Honda V-6. Bad ass ride.
mmm. I'd love to drive one of these..even just once.
It could have a SmartFor2 engine in it.... Bet it would still be a blast!
Looks like non-stop fun...
Sorry Jeff, in the US we get a crappy GM Eco-Tec engine. In the UK, they get the Civic Type-R engine, with optional supercharger.
@djmtsu - Current production Atoms in the US are identical to their UK counterparts, both with the same JDM Honda engine.
My Atom (the one in the picture) has a LSJ Ecotec. It was one of the first ones built in the US, back in 2006. Which engine you prefer depends on whether you like max power at lower revs (GM) or higher ones (Honda). They're both a blast to drive, but very different from each other.
saw Leno in his the other day on My Classic Car, damn thing will fly....
@Terry Kennedy- Planning on trading up to the Atom 500 V8 when it comes around? That is going to be downright SCARY! (in a good way)
@djmtsu - Probably not. I like the easy availability of parts for the Ecotec Atom. The V8 for the Atom is rather unique and parts may take some time to obtain.
