Dumb move by the new harley head.
Loved my Ulysses and the brand was making strides despite the racing nonsense.
If I ever buy a "Harley" now it will be an S&S motored custom or bigdog or victory.
Screw harley now.
The announcement was quite a shock. Erik was close to tears in the video. Without H-D stepping in with cash, a long time ago, Buell motorcycles probably wouldn't have made it this far. That still doesn't take the sting out of "the rug being jerked out" from under the brand. I love my Buell. It is a great all-around motorcycle that I have enjoyed on the road and on the track.
I feel bad for the all the Buell guys out there but the company wasn't making numbers, and when you do that long enough you get the axe.
It was overdue to happen, no reflection intended on Erik.
I remember his first bike and thought at the time I would never hear of him again. He proved me wrong in a big way!
