Already been discussed, ad nauseum. Some people like 'em, say they work fine, others don't. To each his own, what's left to say?
if you're gonna run the gap all the time i'd say hell no....... but if you're like me and live in flat country, where the only hills are the over passes then car tires will be very economical. but as jazzy said........ to each his own....
With any tire, look for obvious defects before heading out. Got air, still have tread? Lord nows we have seen enough cords in the highlights.
