Is that a Chrysler Conquest? I wasn't aware they made a drop top version, and obviously they didn't make a V8.

Nah it's an old TVR...possibly a Tasmin(?) I'm seeing on Google.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2524/3781589774_7540c9e142.jpg says it's a TVR Tasmin 280i. It might also be a 200i, as that had the Pinto engine and this car obviously has an intercooler. The 200i would be much more likely to be turbocharged.

Apparently it was a 2.8 V6 from what we'd call the Capri (more or less).

From wiki "The styling of the car is credited to Oliver Winterbottom who had previously styled the Lotus Elite S2." I sure as hell wouldn't have hired the guy that designed the Elite! :-D
