Thats awesome. On a single cyl. 4 stroke.
Excellent choice for a long-distance ride - those things have been used in trips from North America to lower South America and back. Great bike - nice color, too.
note the aftermarket oversize tank
KLR650? Those things are great! You can also get the extra (long range) tank that goes on the back like a saddle bad to extend range hundreds of miles.
Friend of mine just rode from Greensboro NC to the top of Alaska and back (14k miles in 6 weeks) on an 07 KLR. He said it was like riding a vibrating sawhorse all day. It's his 1st bike and he bought it this past February (read: this guy was riding for 3 months and made it all the way to AK? Dude, I'm freakin goin. Thas all there is to it, man. I'm goin)
