Let me be the first to say...why isn't that kid in a car seat and strapped in?
Ah, let'm have fun, you know most of us survived before the "law" required those.
I usually bite my tongue when it comes to folks being goobers, and you know, I do agree with the kids being in a seatbelt.... But how many of us actually used ANY seatbelts as kids?? Be honest with yourselves... you can lie to me, that fine. But lying to yourself is just not healthy.... I remember riding in the back my mums ol' Subaru hatchback, I'm talking the cargo area, not the back seat - for years!
That being said, I'm sure they and most others are just posing for the pic as EVERYONE has done at least once. Besides, he is a passenger in a SUV. Look at all these folks on bikes riding around blind turns and looking directly at the camera. How is that any safer than this kid? At least he's not driving nor distracting the driver...
I'm not trying to excuse the parents on this, but I'm sure he isn't hanging out the window on every stretch of road they drive... just sayin'.
With all that said, I think its an excellent effing picture that the whole family will laugh at evertime they see it... great pic! And I think grandpa is awesome!! LOL
