Definitely something "different" about it KB. Almost looks like the rider/bike/road is "lifted" from the rest of the pic. Almost like somebody painted it on top of the pic. (And I know you can respekt all the photo terminology :)

I too like this shot, but even more so, I love his bags, and would love to know where he got them.
Perfect depth of field too, would be interested to know what lens you used (and what other lenses you use)
