Gah! The one and only Bugeye I ever drove was that color with a ragtop. I bought one as a "project, " and only got as far as unbolting the motor from the frame.
Sigh.
Good to see the old Sprite still exists.
There isn't a car available anywhere in the States today that isn't a lot faster and better handling.
In great condition a bugeye might do 90... going down a long hill on a very good day... but I learned to enjoy driving in one.
