I know there were several black
rx7's running around that weekend, but if this is the one I ended up behind everytime you get remotely close to it, she woman driving would lock up the brakes. Usually in a curve. I've never wanted to drag someone out of their car so much in my life.
Ugh...very disrespectful whoever that was. Next time kill the ego and just let 'em by.
That sucks. Tho i'm pretty sure the person driving that one was a guy. That particular one is a 3-rotor 500hp+.
Wait, is it possible they were trying to let you by, and just going about it poorly. I know it wouldn't be the first time a good gesture was honestly mistaken as meanness. My older friend Eddie (car guy) pulled over to let some sportbikes pass, and they put out their leg to say thanks, but he thought they were kicking at his door and being rude until I explained that it's hard to take your hands off the bars in a turn. ;)
Ahem....most of the sportbikes out this weekend wouldn't be able to keep up with this particular RX-7. Lol.
they weren't trying to let me around, when the road would straighten up, they'd start to get on it a little more. And this car may not be that person, I just remember this body style of a black rx7. I have no problem sharing the road, but you don't have to act like a knobhead.
When someone's holding me up, I pull over. Some of my best rides through there have been watching my friends stuck behind motorhomes cussing. I'll stop, wait for traffic behind me, haul ass until I catch up, stop, repeat.
Too funny, that's my car and I can assure you I didn't hold you up. 650 RWHP so I wasn't passed very much and I am a guy.
A biker did press me once so I pulled over to let him by but 1/4 mile later he had to pull over to let me pass again. If that was you, "thanks"!
And next time, how about not crossing the center line? We've had a few RX7s leave with motorcycles implanted in the side of them. I'd say that is a bit disrespectful wouldn't you?
