Ah, man, that's horrible! So many bumps in the road of making bhp.
Damn Killboy, you're really having a time of it with the EVO huh? That sucks, I feel for ya.
KB dude that's seriously rough luck.
Sadly, that is going to hurt your billfold as least as badly as you thought in your dreams. Probably worse.
well.... it ain't really bad luck... something caused the failure, coulda' been equipment failure, mechanic error, etc., and the same goes for crashing the bike... not that I'm an expert but it probably wasn't just bad luck, something probably caused it... rider error or timely lack of attention (I can testify to this), error of another force, person, object, etc..... stuff happens!
Anything else known at this point? I would imagine that your pistons didn't appreciate the contact either.
Nothing yet, it has taken him longer to finish up a couple of other projects first. We're hoping it didn't do much to the pistons, since it was not running when it jumped timing. It did it when I went to start the car, so only a couple of knocks and I knew something was wrong.
Ah, that's a good thing. I assumed that it was running when it jumped. Hopefully it's nothing beyond valvetrain components.
By the way... you almost had that left front up!
You noticed that too. ;)
I was surprised...pretty impressive for a car so front-heavy.

Dont forget the Oil !
Oh you can count on that RC! ;)
