Looks cushy..... bet it wouldn't feel too cushy, but better than concrete!
Interesting bit of trivia: every tire used, in all the crash barriers at Barber, is brand new. No used tires.
They don't have that at Roebling.
No used tires? That's kind of sad. Would be a better use for used tires than putting them in landfills.
As I recall they used defective tires, like the Bridgestones that were recalled from the whole SUV fiasco.
