Weekly Update - November 5, 2008

All photos from last week are available in Our Store here. These are some of the highlights.

A quickie as we have to be at UT in the morning for Lori's surgery...she's having the hardware removed from her wrist in hopes it'll make it stop hurting any time she has to use it more than 5 minutes.

Last weekend was SOOOOPER slow...we were amazed at how beautiful and quiet it was. I guess everyone figured the place would be over-run, so no one came out. The leaves are really peaking now, and I got some great scenic shots at sunset yesterday. The road is staying fairly clear of leaves unless it gets breezy and the traffic is low, as was the case yesterday. Keep a little in reserve and enjoy the scenery.

This weekend looks pretty slow on the calendar, with a Porsche group being the only rally listed. The Deals Gap hotel and diner will be closed after this weekend we are told, but the convenience store/gas station part should be open until around Thanksgiving.

That's it for now...I'll update that header shot one of these days. Enjoy the highlights!

Good luck with the surgery kiddo! A friend of mine had hardware removed from his HEEL for the same reason. They fused it instead.

Just remember, beating up Darryl will NOT speed up the healing process. :)
