Alright, not a huge fan of the smaller dog breeds (even tho I do own a mini-pinscher), but you've definitely made me a fan of yours between last weeks shots and this one here.
Cool/cute lil' guys!
Jacks can be a handfull. Dogs on crack. Or speed, or something.
I have a border collie that will give the same look while covering the BALL or FRISBY...you WILL pay attention and DO MY BIDDING or I will make you feel as guilty as hell....just gotta luv em'.
MY SHELTIE DOES THE SAME BUT WITH A LOW MOAN
I can be working under a car or something.... the tennis ball will roll up next to me after my dog pushes it with her nose.
My dog is a 35# mutt dog, found running loose.
I have 2 jacks myself.. the oldest being only a year old. I have a full time job just making sure they don't distroy each other and the house... but they are so much fun. I am going to get them in on that Jack Russell hurdle racing on ESPN.. I don't know if anyone else has seen that but it is the funniest thing I have ever seen.
Once they get past a year old with decent training, they can be left alone for long periods with no problems usually. We leave our for up to 10-12 hours at a time in the house, and they never bother anything...might drop a deuce in the floor for us, but usually don't if we let them out for a while before leaving.
I've seen that hurdle racing, and it's great, but I like the tunnel racing even better. Have you seen that? They have tunnels dug with multiple branches, and a "treat" hidden down in one of them. The whole "track" is bordered with plexiglass like an antfarm so you can see what the dogs are doing. I've only seen it on TV a couple of times though. :(
We have a Westie whose whole life revolves around his tennis ball. Best catching dog I've ever seen.
