I was thinking "wow hes not really straining to pull that wheel up" and realized he still has 3 on the ground.
Maybe its an auto leveling thing like Caddies have :)
Ever follow one of those? They are scary to see, and probably worse to hang on to. Somebody ought to buy a convertible and throw away the top, safer and same effect!
Never understood how these and trikes are street legal anyway. I've never ridden one (and won't) but it doesn't seem any safer than the ol' 3-wheelers that were BANNED and never to be sold again. And they were OFF-ROAD vehicles for Pete's sake!! Just don't get it.
Training wheels!
Outriggers!
Can't possibly lean much with those things on even if you wanted to.
I agree with gapcurley, a Miata is probably cheaper than a Wing too.
Those extra 2 wheels are called the Voyger kit. The good thing is you can go from 2 wheels to 4 in 10 minutes, but the problem they make the bike behave very badly in curves. And too you don't have the 4 degree rake for the forks to help it steer easier. So bottom line is, if you can't hold your wing up anymore either retire or have it triked out and above all be safe.
Not sure if it's just a shadow, but that front tire looks incredibly squared, which makes sense as it would never see the edges.
Some 'Wing guys run the automotive rear, as we've all gabbed about here. Seems like he could use that on the front.
Or buy an F-350 Duallie, which likely corners better.
How about that linkage ?
Wow, I went back and looked at the front tire. It is squared pretty well. Makes sense.
You can probably negotiate a Saturn Sky down to the MSRP price of a Wing. There is only a couple of grand difference.
The bike should still lean into the turn...shouldn't it?
That's as far as it leans, so they are driven like a trike...no more counter-steering. Gotta turn right to go right...which could really confuse someone who jumps back and forth between this and 2-wheel bikes.
betting a Saturn Sky weights less than a hondapottimus too :)
