I've always like the Yamaha's. The R1 & R6 anyway. But is it just me or are they trying to make the R1's a bit uglier every year?? After the '06 year, it just seems that it's gotten uglier, and uglier, and uglier. I do like the paint scheme tho. Just my opinion.
I'd agree, I thought the older models were sexier.
I for one like it, i ride an '07 and love it. i do wonder though way they took the ram air intakes off the front.
The ram air intakes are still on the front, they're just beside the headlights now, inside the black area.
