Weekly Update - July 2, 2008

Photos from last week are in Our Store here, these are just some of the highlights.

Sorry for being late on the part of the update this week. We're coming up on the 4th of July weekend, which is always busy.

There will be a lot of non-enthusiast traffic on the roads for the next few days. If you get caught in a line of traffic, be it on the Gap or one of the other local roads, be patient. Making one bad choice can make a difference on how you spend the rest of your vacation, and possibly someone else's.

Of course there will be police out. If you do happen to get pulled over, be polite and respectful to the officer. At the end of the day they are regular people like you and me with a job to do, and you know eople will be partying and drinking. There will likely be check points, looking for drunk drivers and making sure everyone is legal, so have your papers together. Sorry to sound preachy, we just want everyone to be safe and enjoy their time off from work.

On a lighter note... while in a store in Maryville on Tuesday a gentleman approached us. Turns out he was a fan of the site and had been on the front page before. (The "Weird" green Chinese sportbike) He said he was sorry to hear about Lori's bad luck with bikes this year. He then pulled out a two dollar bill and said he had carried it several years for good luck and wanted to pass it on to Lori, he thought she could use it at this point. We didn't get your name, but wanted to thank you again for your kindness. It really meant a lot to Lori. I have a feeling she isn't going to go anywhere with out that token of good luck. We would like to extend thanks to everyone that has sent us their thoughts and well-wishing through all this. Lori is doing well, some days are better than others. She'll probably be trying to ride soon enough.

That's about it. Have a fun and safe 4th!

Good luck Killgurl! I wish you all the best. You two are really great. This is the only website I check every single day that I have access to a computer. It provides untold entertainment. I've only been to the Dragon twice but visiting your website makes me wish I was there every day. Best of luck in all of your recovery Lori.
