holy crap. Is that an LS engine? man that must be fun. talk about a mondern day cobra... Nice.
Throttle body is different now that I look at it a little closer from my GT.... it's a V8 tho.. I'd really like to know what. it might be a 4.6 from a couple year old F150 or explorer...
It's an LS2 F8tl. The modular Ford motor doesn't fit. In fact, I don't think anyone's ever gotten an OHC V8 into a Miata with the stock hood.

;-) (LS chevy motor inside). LS-1 I believe cause the LS-6 is drive by wire.
