Ya, CP is a tougher bird to fly for sure. I'm still learning mine.

Difference is, I fly my CX freehand, but with the ping pong balls on my CP LOL. Still go through a set of blades every time.
Again, it's a much different bird to fly. The CX, it's all in the rotation and forward movement. With the CP, you gotta fly the damn thing LOL.
At least your assembly doesn't take as long as the J-3 cub kit I'm building, but it'll be easier to fly too!
My bro in law used to fly the big dollar gas powered ones, he is a great scale heli pilot, these days he just flies the blade CP Pro.
He amazes me how he can bank the damn thing and make it fly.
