Everyone's a sportbike rider at heart.

Harley's 21" skinny tire makes for cornering difficult....but by learning from Sportbike riders, it can be a blast. Sportbike riders have helped me (and apparently this rider) with handling the curves in a smoother, more controlled manner.

Actually, all my learning came from a combination of years of experience, a couple nasty wipeouts, a lack of fear (also known as stupidity, though I have utmost respect for the dangers of riding,) watching other riders (including but not limited to sportbikers,) and trial & error. Don't get me wrong - I respect all bikers, but I'm too crazy for sportbikes. My biggest problem with the 21" skinny at first was the push, but once you're accustomed, it's second nature.

That's me on my second trip that day (and ever for that matter) through the dragon and I enjoyed and tore up every inch of it. My front tires edges are almost bald after last weekend.

I agree with you on the push of the 21" tire. It took me quite some time to get used to it. My fork brace really helps. I won't own a Sportbike because I know me and owning one would be hazardous to my health. :) Age breeds caution. :)
