Not real keen on the blingy tail lights, blacked-out strip would look pimper in my mind, but the style and performance potential is definitely there. (Our Evo has chrome tail lights too, from the factory. Not as outrageous on silver, but I don't really care for them on there either. ;)

can't you do a light smoke tint on yours or 'bake' them (I did the baking in my old WRX headlights), but have gone with the light smoke tint (still legal when done right according to a local Police officer) on my 08 WRX since the stock ones have that same chrome look to them.
Yeah I've been meaning to smoke them with some spray tint, just haven't got around TUIT yet.
You can get the 3m type film relatively cheap (I have it for the subie, just not had the chance to install it yet). We have a connection thru the dealership for it.
