Learning from photographs...

Most people say they learn the most about their riding position from photos. Here's a classic example of the upper body fighting the lower body. Everyone goes through this phase, usually early on. I hope the shot helps ya.

Go easy on him folks, I'm sure he's having a blast and that all that matters. ;)

Kind of how I ride, but I manage to have a blast, too.

A GSXR-1000 is probably not the best choice for a first sportbike, but lets all hope he doesn't wad it up. The best suggestion I have ever heard for riding for is to move your shoulder into the turn, and your knee will follow. I tried moving my butt out first (like in the pic), and you end up twisted and uncomfortable, not to mention out of control. But, if you lead with your shoulder, it feels more natural and the bike responds better.

DOH. I guess that's the new Hayabusa isn't it. Oh well, you can't win them all.
