And this is "Acid Park"
Near Rocky Mount, NC. The story goes, back in the '50s or '60s a girl was at a party and dropped acid then drove home. She crashed her car head-on into a tree near home and died. The car is still there, and her father built this huge memorial of reflectors to guide her spirit back home. Many of the structures are wind-powered and they spin in the slightest breeze...some even power other structures like a little horse-drawn carriage with galloping horses and spinning carriage wheels. It's all out in the middle of nowhere, and really freaky to drive up on at night.

I live about 45 mins from Acid Park and have been several times. It is an awesome sight. I think there are several stories surrounding the sculptures. I don't know which one is true. When were you there?
We were there the night of Jan 1st. Driving back from the airport after our trip to NY, and wanted to show Lori something she'd never seen. ;)
