did you just use a circular polarizer for that? it's awesome
No polarizer even, it's straight from Lori point-and-shoot Canon Powershot (A720IS I think?) No photoshopping or adjusting. It actually took several shots like this in a row, and we had to narrow them down. It seems to meter the light at different levels across the image when needed...kinda like real-time HDR or something. I know my 40D could never produce a shot that well-exposed with so much contrast difference there.
that's pretty crazy. it does resemble hdr in a way. i just know that's a nearly impossible shot without a lot of experimenting. i was just curious as to how ya got it. thanks
