Bankerbikerchik: It's on Cheoah lake/reservoir, which is created by Choah Dam, but it's about half-way between Fontana Dam and Cheoah Dam on Hwy 28. It's easy to spot if you keep your eyes open while traveling between Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort and Fontana Dam.
Hi Darryl, Yeppers, I have seen it many times. The first week in October I was camping at Cable Cove and I pulled my friends boat through Fontana resort because he wanted to fish some on Cheoah Lake, but we had to go around the world on a newly paved road to get to the backside of the lake to the boat launch, which happens to be to the right of this little powerhouse. The lake was too low to launch the boat, we would have gotten the trailer stuck in the mud. This is a really great shot, by the way! Thanks for all the great pics you guys post!
